How to deactivate and permanently delete your RECoin account

Before You Delete

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Before proceeding, please be aware of the following:

  • Any remaining token balances in your wallet must be withdrawn or transferred before deletion.
  • Ownership records already recorded on the Solana blockchain are immutable and cannot be removed, but your personal profile data will be erased from our systems.
  • Active escrow transactions must be completed or cancelled before your account can be deleted.
  • Certain data may be retained as required by law for AML/KYC compliance and tax reporting purposes.

Steps to Delete Your Account

Follow the menu flow below to deactivate and delete your account from the RECoin mobile app:

    Open the RECoin app

    Launch the RECoin mobile application and sign in to your account.

    Go to Settings

    Tap the profile icon in the bottom navigation bar, then tap the gear icon to open Settings.

    Select Account

    In the Settings menu, tap "Account" to view your account options.

    Tap "Deactivate Account"

    Scroll to the bottom of the Account screen and tap "Deactivate Account."

    Confirm your identity

    You will be prompted to enter your password to verify your identity.

    Confirm deletion

    Review the summary of what will happen, then tap "Permanently Delete My Account" to confirm.

What Gets Deleted

  • Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
  • Stored KYC verification documents
  • Encrypted wallet keypairs
  • Transaction history in our off-chain database
  • Session tokens and authentication credentials

What Is Retained

  • On-chain transaction records (blockchain data is immutable by design)
  • AML/KYC compliance records as required by applicable regulations
  • Anonymized analytics data that cannot be traced back to you

Processing Time

Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation once your account and associated data have been permanently removed from our systems.
